They did it! The County Commission reneged on its reduction of tax dollars going to non-profits. These alleged conservatives should understand it isnāt charity when the money is taken from us to give to the non-profits they choose. Charity is from the heart and your own wallet, not the taxes we must pay or lose our homes!
Senator Jack Latvala wonāt be a senator much longer. The former republican power broker has announced his resignation, even as he tries to divert blame for his leaving on the intuition of the senate itself.
The āRepublicanā tax cuts have passed, republican being tied to the claims of disaster should the cuts pass. That could be a good thing as corporate America is responding by spreading the newfound wealth with its employees and shareholders. Nonprofits that pay huge salaries to executives will see a tax on those salaries. That impacts college athletics and much more. How about this, letās stop lying and saying entities are nonprofit when profit is what they are about? In other positive news Al Franken has set a departure date!
Itās nice to see the USA in the persons of Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley and the president talking tough to the United Nations. You āget the US out of the UNā fans will like this.
