The left-leaning ‘Latino Victory Fund’ released a shocking video advertisement this week, depicting supporters of Virginia gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie as vicious, pickup-driving “racists” targeting minority children.
The stunning video, titled “American Nightmare,” shows groups of minority children fleeing a marauding Ed Gillespie voter; chasing his would-be victims in a Confederate-flag adorned pick-up truck with a “Don’t tread on me” license plate.
“Is this what Donald Trump and Ed Gillespie mean by the ‘American Dream?’” asks the narrator.
The group released a statement on social media along with the advertisement, saying the GOP nominee has openly “embraced racism and xenophobia.”
“In a desperate attempt to become Virginia’s next governor, Ed Gillespie has eagerly embraced racism and xenophobia,” said the post. “We refuse to stand by as Gillespie slanders our families and portrays our community as thugs, criminals, and gang members.”
