WIDE OPEN WEDNESDAY: Politics, Political Correctness & Pot!

THE LIE THE MORGANITES WANT YOU TO BELIEVE:

It’s no surprise that the PC crowd can’t let kids be kids…or let their heroes be of a different ethnicity than they are.  So, tell me again, just who is preaching division?  Sports media is no better; they have gone from reporting the news of sport to being the arbiters of holiness in games we used to enjoy.  Florida Today publishes my MICKnugget feature scripts as a column on Sundays.  This week’s edition got a reply that was expected from a likewise expected corner, the John Morgan doper crowd.  Let’s not let facts get in the way of the story!  Politics are afoot in the Brevard County Commission.  John Tobia, after kicking down the door of the commission chamber with middle fingers raised and clearly stating he was after commissioners Smith and Barfield, has taken to politicking during the meetings as opposed to simply dealing with the business in front of the board.  He should own it, but he isn’t.  County golf courses could be on the auction block, they actually should be.  Cocoa experienced severe water issues during Hurricane Irma.  The mayor is not happy with Florida Today’s coverage and the battle with media is on.
