In the wake of the Las Vegas massacre it’s good to remind ourselves just what we may do in a similar circumstance. Sheriff Wayne Ivey has spoken to us on this in the past, surviving an active shooter is possible if you have a plan. And it’s interesting to see just who is playing politics regarding the shooting. Cops are expected to deal with anything, but can you train for every scenario?
OJ Simpson’s attorney reacted to our web poll, at least Pam Bondi’s comments that inspired it. HE’s right, she’s wrong and that’s it.
Are we addicted to outrage? Can we discuss current events without angering someone? Can we have a civil conversation in America these days? And for that matter, can we even react without ire to a business’ desire to connect people without using electronic devices? It would appear not.
