Political correctness is making humans seem pretty foolish. For centuries we have marked time passed in years with the notations of BC or AD. How dare we accept a common reference that has a religious connotation? What kind of backwards barbarians are we? Well, all that is about to change…maybe. It already has in Great Britain (for some anyway).

A federal judge is an example of the loss of our culture and quite possibly our society. He’s ruled that the county commission must allow atheist invocations before commission meetings (presuming the practice continues). Just, may I ask, who or what are atheists evoking in prayer? They acknowledge no higher power…so just what are they doing with the time?

Is a civil debate possible in America today? Florida Today is taking a shot at it bringing folks from various persuasions together for a chat…or several.

For his career on the bench, Judge A. B. Majeed remained politically silent. We talked last week about giving up rights for the employment we choose. The judge is now retired and he missed his first amendment rights for his entire career. He speaks out in today’s 8am hour. Always enlightening, this is an hour you don’t want to miss.
