He said the law will help veterans get quicker answers to appeals for their benefits, a process he suggested can sometimes take years. It will also help clear a backlog of appeals. Trump praised vets during his speech. He said Americans hold veterans as examples of strength and courage, and that Americans can look to vets as sources of inspiration for unity.
