Uber Driver Accused Of Stealing From Passengers

(New Orleans, LA) -- A New Orleans Uber driver is in trouble with the law for allegedly stealing from some passengers. Police say two passengers asked the driver to stop at a convenience store to pick some things up but that's when the ride took an unusual twist. The driver took off in a 2016 Toyota Tundra and took things they left inside. Officers say they have tracked the Uber vehicle to its owner but she is not cooperating and will not reveal the identity of the man who was driving her Toyota at the time of the incident.
