(Marion Co., FL) -- An alligator has been removed from a Marion County school. The Marion County Sheriff's Office said the three-foot gator was found yesterday outside the Fort McCoy School. Confederate Flags At Tallahassee High School

(Tallahassee, FL) -- The Confederate flag has become a source of disruption at a Tallahassee high school. A number of classrooms at Chiles High School were empty yesterday after a threat posted to social media a day after the Rebel flag was flown on campus. Leon County school officials excused absences for students who missed school due to sore and lingering feelings on the issue. A number of students tell Tallahassee news outlets that the students have flown the flag in recent weeks. Sure, let’s teach our kids to be snowflakes rather than working out their differences in a mature, responsible manner.  And if those pesky final exams are bothering you, go ahead and sty home for those, too!
