4:05PM ET - Victoria Toensing and Joe DiGenova, founders  of the Washington D.C. law firm diGenova & Toensing, are here to discuss the firing of James Comey and the phony outrage from the left. DiGenova had this to say about Comey’s removal:

"If you were smart, which I'm not sure he is, he would disappear for a while, but I'm not sure he has it in him," DiGenova said. "What he may do is make common cause with the Democrats and try to save his reputation, whatever that is . . . saying he should not have been fired."

Democrats will go along, he said, because they "can do anything. They are not bound by principal. As they say in the business, you cannot rely on them to think about principle." (h/t Newsmax)

Understanding Trump5:05PM ET- Former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich and author of the upcoming book Understanding Trump, is here to discuss the firing of FBI director James Comey and why President Trump was right to let him go. The President’s statement on his decision to the White House Press Pool today:

“Mr. President, why did you fire director Comey?” one reporter asked the President.

“Because he wasn’t doing a good job,” responded Trump. “Very simply. He was not doing a good job.”

The reporter then asked if the removal of Comey affected the President’s high-level meetings with the Russian Foreign Minister earlier in the day.

“Did it affect your meeting with the Russians today?” he was asked.

“Not at all,” responded the President.

5:35PM ET - House Budget Committee Chairman Diane Black (R-TN-06) is here in the wake of breaking news in the Trump administration, to discuss one of the other major news items, the budget that has been proposed by Congress. Rep. Black has been serving as Interim Budget Chairman since the beginning of the year but was just designated as official Chairman of the Budget Committee. She is the first woman in Congressional history to hold to this role and has been a conservative leader in the House on Obamacare repeal, budget reform, and other issues. She is the author of the current budget proposal. She is also a nurse and keeps her license current, giving her a unique perspective on healthcare.
