Baseball Fan Honors Friend's Memory At Ballpark Bathrooms
(New York, NY) -- A New York baseball fan is honoring the memory of a longtime friend in a unique way. Tom McDonald is spreading the ashes of fellow Mets fan Roy Riegal by flushing them down restroom toilets in ballparks across the country. McDonald told "The New York Times" he's flushed Mr. Riegal's ashes in 16 stadiums so far after performing the ritual at Citi Field in Flushing Meadows, New York this season. Riegal was a plumber, so McDonald says pouring his essence into the plumbing at ballparks is a fitting tribute.

Man Accused Of Trying To Throw Co-worker Into Wood-chipper
(Keizer, OR) -- Charges are being filed against an Oregon man accused of trying to push a co-worker into a wood chipper. Officials in Keizer say Scott Iverson attempted to throw the other man into the machine a couple of times during some sort of dispute last Thursday while working for a tree-service company. Another employee then intervened and pulled Iverson off the other man. Police say they arrested Iverson Friday on assault counts. HE’S A LUMBERJACK AND HE’S NOT OK!
