The Electric Revolution

Our headline refers to factory vehicle assembly now being done by humanoid robots. Electric men making electric cars…for electric people, perhaps? Manufacturing and many other jobs are changing because of AI enhanced automation. This one could be huge and even beneficial for the auto industry.

Here in Florida, we have new laws for schools and for the rest of us. The anti-DEI law has ignited a debate on race. The special legislative session on congressional redistricting is scheduled for next week. Predicting the outcome would be foolish at this point, but one columnist says there are lessons to learn from Virginia, I’m just not sure she’s got it right.

In DC, the Senate continues battling over the War Powers resolution and the pending deadline for congressional action, while the president says the female executions in Iran have been stopped. California’s been stopped, too. The Golden State wanted to control operational details of the federal agents working there and the 9th Circuit has rebuffed that idea.

Let’s have a Thursday discussion.
