In the Beginning

…25th Anniversary Week: John Harper- WMEL

It’s 25th Anniversary Week on BML. Each day we’ll have a guest to share snapshots of the early days, the middle years thus far and maybe a glimpse of where it’s all going. We’ll also feature your talkback “roast the host” calls through the week.

Our guest in the 8am hour is John Harper, the owner of WMEL radio, who gave me my start. It was a chance communication that ended up with a strong friendship and an opportunity to develop skills and a career that’s lasted these 25 years.

Before John’s visit, we’ll take a look at where honesty gets you in today’s sports world and also in today’s political arena.

The partial government shutdown continues and neither party is concerned. In fact, they are relishing the moment.

The president issued an interesting threat and then backed it up with action over the weekend. Elon Musk has volunteered to pay TSA workers to ease the pain of American travelers.

If we have time, we have another judge playing executive and issuing policy for the Pentagon. When you have time, click the link below about spies on the Space Coast…you’ll find it an interesting read.

Welcome to anniversary week on BML.
