For my part, a new trend in dining tells us a lot about what has happened to our kids. The University of Oklahoma has a problem shared by many universities in America; they practice viewpoint discrimination when it comes to controversial assertions. Standards matter and maybe nowhere are they more important than in military readiness. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth isn’t bashful about that and he’s right. Could DC be next major American city with a communist mayor? Are we seeing actual bipartisan efforts in DC for something that is good for the country? The answer to both questions is, yes.
Finally, should we end up going there, the Brevard Republican Executive Committee is in a spiral. It reminds me of one from the 1970’s.Jim Jones led his Peoples Temple to Guyana to build the cult’s socialist utopia. In November of 1978 it came to an end with the deaths of 918 people including Congressman Leo Ryan who was there to investigate claims of abuse by the cult. Many of Jones’ followers died from drinking the Kool Aid he’d ordered prepared for their mass suicide. BREC is inflicting a similar end upon itself.
