Marion County Teacher Accused Of Hitting Kids And Using Racial Slurs

(Ocala, FL) -- Some parents in Marion County want a teacher arrested. South Ocala Elementary School informed parents Tuesday a substitute teacher was accused of hitting students and using racial slurs in class. Ocala Police, though, say they investigated, found no proof, and no arrest was made. The school district says the sub will no longer be used, but that's not enough for some. One parent tells Fox 35 based on the number of allegations, the lack of criminal charges doesn't make sense.

PSTA Drivers Want To Be Allowed To Carry Guns

(Clearwater, FL)-- A new gun law has some bus drivers worried. Florida now allows some gun owners to openly carry firearms in several places, including buses. Drivers, though, for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority, are not allowed to have guns, and that has some drivers fearing for their safety. One driver says she's also worried about the safety of children who ride the bus. Another driver says he feels like a sitting duck. A union rep tells Tampa Bay 28 if drivers can't carry guns, there should at least be bullet proof glass around them. 

Squirrel Attacks Send Two To Hospital In Northern California

(San Rafael, CA)-- An extremely aggressive squirrel is being blamed for injuring multiple people in a Northern California town. Multiple attacks have been reported by San Rafael residents, according to the Marin Humane Society. Warning signs have gone up in the area saying, "This is not a joke. More than five people have been attacked by a very mean squirrel." Two people went to the emergency room to get treatment. Animal care experts have also reminded residents to not feed wild animals, which they believe is likely the reason the squirrel is so aggressive.
