Celebrate! Celebrate! (Trump dance to the music)

With apologies to Three Dog Night, should Republicans be ready to “Celebrate! Celebrate!” and Trump dance to the music? We’ll get to the question later in today’s show.

We’ll begin our morning with Republican political operatives whining about new tech solutions that could keep them from aggravating us on our cell phones. There are multiple angles here and we’ll dig into them as we start our day.

A California lawmaker has come up with a great idea that will never happen. It’s too bad, but dividing California into two states just ain’t in the cards.

A column from the College Fix asks if government funding causes a loss of liberty. What a sad thing if it’s happening. We should be careful what we ask of government and the expectations that come with that involvement.

State Representative Monique Miller will join us in our 8am hour. It’s already time to gear up for the next legislative session and it’s not like legislators haven’t been busy since the last session ended.

Joe Pags will cover my slot on Labor Day. Dave Bowman and I will be back on Tuesday.
