Some folks just have to learn things the hard way. Count Cracker Barrel among them. After week of negative publicity and stock prices heading in the same direction, the country cookin’ restaurant saw the error of its marketing ways and reconsidered, scrapping its homey feel and branding.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is active, if a bit misguided himself. While he deserves credit for tacking the non-English reading truck driver issue, his focus on colored crosswalks is a bit much. Falling prey to the fight against rainbow crosswalks in Florida, Daytona Beach will be covering its checkered flag crosswalks. This is a battle that does not need to be addressed, much less fought, yet here we are!
The FBI has settled with 8 more whistleblowers with some retiring and others keeping their jobs. It’s about time. We should be demanding integrity of those in law enforcement, not penalizing it.
And while we talked the Executive Order on flag burning yesterday, there are other issues causing concern with President Trump’s recent actions. Given the opportunity, we’ll get back into them today.
