Back to Basics

We’re going back to the basics in today’s show. To begin, Mel Gibson is back with a sequel to “The Passion of the Christ.” It’ll be broken into two parts and if anything like “The Passion” will be stellar.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is taking basic training back as well. Drill Sergeants are not supposed to be touchy, feely guys and gals, but tough and demanding. So long drill instructor pals, hello yelling, screaming, red faced movers of men!

While investigations go on in DC over a lot of things during the Biden administration, some FBI personnel involved in January 6th events are out of the agency.

President Trump wants a new census that does not count those illegally in the country. It’s a good idea; it’s the right idea and he pursuing making that change.

That makes me wonder what happens when the census is wrong, as is being alleged in several states around the country. If my research is correct, there’s not much that can be done. Yet, some states can (and may) decide to redistrict congressional seats, but it doesn’t appear Florida can. That won’t keep our legislature from exploring the idea.

The president has announced 100% tariffs on chipmakers who import their products as opposed to manufacturing them here. With many, if not most, already building in the USA, is this big news?

Let’s see what we can get to on a Friday…
