Tropical Storm Andrea Fizzles Out

(Undated) -- The first storm of the Atlantic hurricane season is fizzling out. The National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Andrea is spinning in the open Atlantic Ocean, traveling away from the U.S. mainland. Although that's good news for Floridians, the National Hurricane Center is reminding folks that this season is expected to be an active one with up to 19 named storms. The season runs through November 30th.

ICE Arrests Man Accused Of MS-13 Ties

(Orlando, FL) --An illegal alien accused of being associated with the MS-13 gang is in custody in Orange County. ICE agents arrested Ever Manuel Bonilla-Moran on Friday in East Orlando. He allegedly entered the US illegally from El Salvador in 2014. ICE says he was deported a month later, but he re-entered the country illegally at an unknown date. He's being held at the Krome North Service Processing Center in Miami. 

Miccosukee Tribe Member Criticizes Plans For Alligator Alcatraz

(Ochopee, FL) --A member of the Miccosukee Tribe is raising concerns about plans for a facility called Alligator Alcatraz. The state has announced plans to build an immigrant detention center in the Everglades at the Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport. It's owned by Miami-Dade County, but it's also just a few miles from land owned by the Native American tribe. Betty Osceola says this is their homeland, and it's a fragile ecosystem that needs to be protected. The state is already working to convert the land to hold five thousand detainees. Osceola, though, tells 7News her tribe is looking at options, political and legal, to stop this.       

HSN Moves Out Of St. Pete

(St. Petersburg, FL) -- After almost 50 years, the Home Shopping Network is done in Tampa Bay. HSN ceased operations in St. Petersburg yesterday. The company is now run entirely out of Pennsylvania where its parent company also runs QVC. A HSN executive tells 10 Tampa Bay they have the deepest appreciation to the St. Pete community for their support and dedication over HSN's 47-year history.        

Robber Claimed To Be Immigration Agent

(Houston, TX) --A Texas man is under arrest for allegedly posing as an ICE agent to pull off a robbery. This happened in Houston, in a mainly Hispanic neighborhood. Police say the man used his car to block the victim and then flashed a badge while stealing his cash. An ICE spokesperson condemned the attack and promised that federal charges will be pressed.

Scooby-Doo Robs Gas Station In Alabama

(Tuscaloosa, AL) --Police in Tuscaloosa, Alabama have a mystery on their hands. Cops are looking for a burglar dressed as Scooby-Doo. The costume-clad criminal broke into a Quick Stop early Sunday morning, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
