UT Grad Describes Escape From Israel

(Tampa, FL) -- A Tampa family is grateful to be together again after one of them was stuck in Israel. University of Tampa grad Abby Gurevitch was in Tel Aviv volunteering with an ambulance group for the last month. She spent nights in a bomb shelter, and she remembers missiles landing close to her apartment. Abby's fortunes changed, though, when she was offered the last seat on a flight organized by Grey Bull Rescue and the state of Florida. That flight landed yesterday at Tampa International Airport, and Abby's parents were there to greet her. Abby's dad tells Fox 13 News they're forever indebted to Grey Bull Rescue.

Potential Rays Buyer Open To Moving Team To Orlando

(Orlando, FL) -- Orlando's dream of having Major League Baseball may not be over. The Tampa Bay Rays announced last week it's in talks to sell the team to a Jacksonville developer. If those talks don't work out, though, Trip Miller could be next in line. He's a hedge-fund manager, and The Athletic reports he made an all-cash offer. Miller's based in Memphis, but he has a home in Florida, and he says he's open to moving the team to Orlando. The University of Florida grad says Orlando has a lot to offer, and he'd be very open to exploring all options in Central Florida. Miller doesn't expect the Rays' future will be decided soon. He tells the Orlando Sentinel this is far from over.

Iowa Woman Charged After Allegedly Burning Flags While Partially Nude
