We’ll spend two hours with Representative Tyler Sirois taking a look at the just concluded legislative session. That begins at 7am.
As we open our day, we’ll take a look at something that irritates many of us- pharmaceutical ads .It’s not like we can just go buy them. And the disclaimers about side-effects should have us wondering if the malady isn’t better than the cure. Yet, they urge us to talk to our doctors about prescribing them. I wonder if that irritates doctors, too. The idea of stopping those ads has some media outlets worried. Apparently these ads are the golden eggs laid by big pharma for the networks.
Our Attorney General is in a bit of hot water. A judge in Federal Court has found him in contempt. I’m also wondering if James Uthmeier’s ego is a bit inflated. He now wants to create “Alligator Alcatraz” near the Everglades to hold illegal immigrants. While I like the sound of it, he’s not the governor and he has several other worries he should be considering.
