I don’t. I do not want a new truck…or any kind of new car. My 2014 Toyota truck is just fine. Oh, it’s had a ding or two, but a little bodywork, OK a lot of bodywork, and it’s as good as ever. While it was in the shop I was driving a rental. It was a base model, but it still had a government mandated feature that convinced me it was a pain. Combine that with other so-called safety features that aren’t so safe and I’m better off keeping the truck I have. Is the Trump administration about to change my mind? It looks like it.
The Supreme Court is teaching Maine lawmakers a thing or two about the constitution. They should join us for Dave Does History on Tuesdays! The Supremes reversed a Maine House censure and forced the Speaker to let her vote her unpopular viewpoint. Funny thing is, she still can’t speak on the House floor.
Hope Florida and the shenanigans there are under criminal investigation in Leon County and the Governor is having a hissy fit.
On the policy front it appears self-deportation is working and the Senate has passed President Trump’s no tax on tips idea.
