Congressional Campaign Worker Accused Of Stealing Bike

(Orlando, FL) --A congressional campaign worker is accused of stealing a bike from a home in Palm Coast. Thirty-five-year-old Arlecia Brown of Orlando was working for a company that was contracted by Josh Weil's congressional campaign when the incident happened. She was arrested on Friday. Brown is reportedly a convicted felon with over a dozen prior arrests. New charges include unlawful possession of personal identification, petty theft, burglary, and soliciting without a permit. The Weil campaign released a statement, saying, "The individual is no longer authorized to do any work on behalf of our campaign."

Canadians React To Trump Policies

(Miami, FL) --An immigration proposal could affect snowbirds from Canada. The Trump administration will reportedly start enforcing a law requiring foreign nationals in the US for more than 30 days to register with ICE. Canadian citizen Annie Dupont spends her winters in Broward County, and she says this makes her feel unwelcome. It could lead her to change her retirement plans. She says she and her husband were planning on retiring in Hollywood, but now, they may go to the Caribbean instead. Toronto resident Kristina Consoli says she wishes this back-and-forth with the US and Canada would all just go away. Her husband tells CBS News Miami they might decide to take all their vacations in Canada from now on.   

Scott Introduces Bill Aimed At Transparency For Government Employees

(Washington, DC) --Rick Scott is pushing a bill he says will hold bureaucrats accountable to the American people. Senator Scott announced yesterday he and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul are reintroducing the Royalty Transparency Act. It requires government employees and those on advisory committees to disclose the royalty payments they get. Scott says the current law allowed Anthony Fauci and others to receive millions in royalty payments from companies outside the federal government without reporting it. He adds this raised serious questions about potential conflicts of interest and fueled distrust in our government. 

Scott Peterson Gets Into Prison Yard Pickleball Fight

(Ione, CA) --Convicted wife-killer Scott Peterson got into a prison-yard Pickleball fight at Mule Creek State Prison this past Sunday. TMZ reports Peterson got into a heated confrontation after he reportedly hit the ball directly at another inmate. TMZ says Peterson got the worst of the fight but his injuries were not bad enough to land him in the prison hospital. Peterson was found guilty in 2004 for the Christmas Eve murders of his wife Laci, who was eight-months pregnant at the time.
