Throwing It Into the Fan

Maybe yesterday’s candidate education class came a bit too late. It seems candidates have ceded their own judgment to that of self-proclaimed campaign wizards who believe throwing disparaging messages at voters about opponents is the way to win. I’m disappointed in Terry Cronin’s messaging of late. Don’t get me wrong, Brian Hodgers started all this weeks ago as his campaign took shots at Cronin’s leadership of medical groups whose opinions Cronin didn’t control.

Boys and girls, we’re tired of this kind of politics. Stop it. Fire the idiots who are advising you or orchestrating these campaigns. You are being underserved. So are Brevard voters.

Activists still aren’t learning the lessons on social activism. Our day begins there with a boycott that won’t hurt Target at all. Disney is laying off around 200 people with ABC taking the brunt of it. Maybe the news folks can learn a lesson or two.

It seems our county commission may have learned one. A recent workshop was cordial, as opposed to what we are used to seeing from the former board. Even the chairman was surprised as he overcame his political upbringing by Trans-Kristine, The Church Lady and Johnus Disgustus to actually be nice to people.

President Trump has detailed Elon Musk’s duties and responsibilities to the cabinet and I’m hope they have complete buy-in. He’s also contemplating the end of the Department of Education. The country would be well served by that move.
