Most parents would sacrifice themselves for their children. It’s not so in the world of education where schools are sacrificing kids to the gods of climate change. The gods of stupidity get their due as well and our kids are all the worse for it.

The fuel for the dumpster fire that is Brevard politics has been enriched by the D-33 Rep and one of his chief opponents, would-be political consultant Robert Burns. These two have taken campaigning and political discourse into the sewer where the smoldering waste fogs the landscape.
Back in Brevard’s education world we are seeing first bit of common sense from the teachers’ union on discipline. The board’s chair is under fire for his style. I’m not so sure it’s as much style as it is his lack of understanding the role. Much like a mayor being a largely ceremonial job, the board’s chair is nothing more than a member “weeth a steek!”
