Here’s a recap of the week…

MONDAY

Our week opens with modern McCarthyism. It's happening in our school classrooms.

The USFL wasn’t bad as it opened with a couple of exciting games and some twists on the rules that make it just a bit different.

We’ll be largely education focused today as Florida has rejected math books over their non-math related content. A NY Democrat is backing Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law. And just who or what do our schools think they are? They are ignoring parent wishes and directives, hiding what they are doing with our kids and acting as they wish with no fear of consequences. It's time for it to stop.

TUESDAY

Today America celebrates. We are mask free, except for maybe if you are flying in or out of Jacksonville. A federal judge here in Florida has killed the Biden mask mandate for public transportation. We’ve had enough. It’s about time, yet the White house is reacting as you might expect. The airlines and flight attendant unions are trying to stay out of it. So, take ‘em off, people!

When do progressive, liberal policy pursuing companies turn their backs on beliefs they claim to hold? They do it when it impacts their bottom line. Starbucks is no different in that regard.

Prime Time Charlie Crist was not good governor as a Republican. He was not a good candidate with no party affiliation and he’ll certainly not be a good governor as a Democrat, but he and Nancy Pelosi have plans for Californicating Florida. That Crist would dare to nuzzle up to Pelosi in his campaign to be the left’s nominee tells us how far out of touch he is. It’s funny; he’s the best that side has to offer.

Dave Does History in our third hour takes us back to the American Revolution. Dave Bowman is with us in this increasingly popular feature.

WIDE OPEN WEDNESDAY

What a stack of stories we have for this WIDE OPEN WEDNESDAY! If there’s nothing on your mind today, just head to the stories posted here. There’s plenty to contemplate for this day we turn over to you.

We’ll begin with the Perv Perspective that is IN A HANDBASKET. Then, it’s up to you.

President Biden says masks on planes are up to us, but his staff seems to be thinking differently. Just how useless were the vaccines? Prime Time Charlie Crist and Nancy Pelosi have a shared vision for Florida and Crist is proud of it.

DeSantis v Disney enters round two and Apollo Creed may be going down with this shot. Brevard was set to buy some of the text books the state did not approve. Jen Psaki needs to read the Parental Rights law or just shut up. Has the Brevard public records process been weaponized? A couple of businesses in Cocoa are having a very public spat. Can we find some adults to be in charge there?

Teachers are running into issues as the sex and gender party in their classrooms is being called out. What happened to keeping your private life private? Media is playing in the war on the family. And will never get past the days of the Rona?

We have those stories and more in play and I’m sure you have some of your own. So, what’s on your mind today?

THURSDAY

The Biden administration’s mask appeal is on. It’s difficult for government to cede power once it’s attained. They’re holding on for dear life. Delta Airlines is holding a grudge and a trial of sorts. Flyers who landed on Delta’s banned list over mask aversion will have to earn their way back onto the Atlanta based carrier’s flights.

There was panic in DC as the Capitol and other facilities were briefly evacuated over an airplane posing a threat. The threat, according to Nancy Pelosi, was Donald Trump’s fault. A Jacksonville prosecutor is showing how crime should be handled and has Florida, again, leading the way.

Our day will begin IN A HANDBASKET with educators having problems. The first is keeping their private lives private. The second is being bullied into LGBT supporting positions.

Florida Today’s John Torres is with us in our third hour. Crosley Green’s attorneys are fighting to keep him out of prison after his appeal was overturned and John’s been taking some heat for his recent stance on the Parental Rights law. We’ll head back into the kitchen to see if we can turn down the fire.

FRIDAY

CNN+ didn’t last long. I’ve had ice cream last longer on a summer day. Lyin’ Anthony Fauci believes government is above the law and that the CDC should be a health dictator over the American people. Florida has released examples of the textbooks that were rejected for math classes in the state. Prime Time Charlie Crist and Nancy Pelosi have plans for Florida and the former governor says Ron DeSantis wants to be a dictator. No, Charlie, DeSantis is showing leadership you’ve never possessed!

The legislature’s special session devolved into a sit-in protest by Democratic lawmakers in the House as the body moved to approve the governor’s congressional maps and remove special district status from Disney.

Representative Tyler Sirois will join us at 8am to brief us on the details of the session and the circus that it was.

We’ll begin the day IN A HANDBASKET where one professor and today’s college grads have the roles of employers and employees reversed. The world just doesn’t work that way.
