Body Of Missing Titusville Woman Found
(Titusville, FL) -- The search for a missing Brevard County woman is at a gruesome end. Titusville Police announced yesterday that the body of Anna Primavere was found in the trunk of a car in Tennessee. The car belongs to 27-year-old suspect Courtney Gibson, who remains on the loose and is considered armed and dangerous. Primavere was last seen on Friday when police believe she confronted Gibson about injuries to a child Gibson was babysitting.
Injured Police Officer Calls Plea Deal 'Slap In The Face'
(Melbourne, FL) -- An injured Melbourne police officer is stinging from what he calls a slap in the face. Sergeant Charlie Braden was hurt in a car crash over two years ago, and the driver who hit him admitted she was drunk. After reaching a plea deal, she was sentenced yesterday to a year in prison, but Braden says he'll be dealing with the injuries he suffered for much longer. The prosecutor's office tells Florida Today the plea deal was reached because there was a chance that some evidence would have been suppressed and that would have made them unable to proceed with a DUI charge.
UCF Cancels Study Abroad Programs In Asia Due To Coronavirus
(Orlando, FL) -- The coronavirus is causing some UCF students to change their plans. The school recently announced that it has canceled study abroad programs in China, South Korea, Mongolia and Hong Kong. Fifteen students are affected by the policy, and the school is working to find an alternate location. UCF tells News 6 its priority is to keep students, faculty and staff safe.
Hernando County Man Arrested As Part Of Violent Extremist Group
(Spring Hill, FL) -- A Hernando County man is accused of being part of a violent extremist group. Spring Hill's Taylor Parker-Dipeppe was one of four men arrested yesterday in Seattle. The FBI says they were part of a group called the Atomwaffen Division, whose goal is to start a race war. Prosecutors say the 20-year-old Parker-Dipeppe and others targeted minority journalists, including one in Tampa.
Miami Beach Imposes Spring Break Restrictions
(Miami Beach, FL) -- Spring break won't be the same this year in Miami Beach. The city commission yesterday passed the second reading of an ordinance to restrict drinking hours. The new law bans alcohol sales after 3:00 a.m. in the entertainment district during spring break next month. Some complained the change will hurt their businesses and won't stop the violence the new law is intended to prevent.

Mom Meets Woman Who Paid For Her Son's Birthday Cake
(Middleburg, FL) -- A Jacksonville woman has a touching way to remember the child she calls her miracle baby. Carole Jackson lost her son, Colton, nine years ago, and ever since, she has paid for the birthday cake of a child she doesn't know. This week, at a Publix in Middleburg, she bought two cakes made for a boy's first birthday, and yesterday, the boy's mom met Jackson to thank her. Jackson tells Action News Jax she tries to do things that make Colton look down on her with pride.
Kentucky Student Gives Extra Test Points To Classmate
(Whitesburg, KY) -- An 11th grader in Kentucky is teaching many a life lesson just by being kind. He put a note at the bottom of a history test that read "can you give my bonus points to whoever scores the lowest?" His teacher was so proud he snapped a photo and posted it on Facebook. He hoped the note would inspire others and by the comments, it has. Not only has the post gone viral but many are praising the student's selflessness saying "this is the way everybody should act." As far as those extra points, they helped another student who scored 58-percent to pass the test.
Woman Leaves ID Behind In Dine-And-Dash
(Charleston, SC) -- A 23-year-old woman isn't likely to get away with a dine-and-dash for very long. She left a South Carolina restaurant without realizing her ID was on the table. She and three others ate and drank their way to a 77-dollar bill. Then they took off, only paying 25-bucks. The woman was the only one identified.
Hearse Stolen With Body Inside
(Pasadena, CA) -- Police in Pasadena, California say someone stole a hearse from a church that had a body and casket inside. The black Lincoln Navigator was taken Wednesday night from outside Saint Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church. The L.A. County Sheriff's Department issued a plea for the criminals to at least make one good decision and bring the body and casket back.
