Dunn Resigns Commission Seat After Murder Arrest (Lakeland, FL) -- A jailed Lakeland official will no longer serve on the city commission. Michael Dunn resigned from the commission this weekend after he was arrested Friday for second-degree murder. Dunn shot and killed a man this month in the store Dunn co-owns, but Dunn's lawyer says the shooting was justified because the victim was armed. Dunn is being held without bail in the Polk County Jail.

Double Homicide In Palm Bay  (Palm Bay, FL) -- Two men are dead after a shooting in Brevard County. Deputies say 23-year-old Ra'shawn Brown and 29-year-old Chad Harris were shot in a home in Palm Bay last week on Cotorro Road. No arrests have been announced, and there's no word on a motive. Police don't believe the shooting was random.

Man Takes Swing At JetBlue Employee At OIA  (Orlando, FL) -- A man is facing charges for a drunken incident at OIA that his son had to witness. Orlando Police arrested 45-year-old Brandon Strong this weekend at the airport after officers say he took a swing at a JetBlue worker. Police say Strong was also physical with officers and he had to be pepper-sprayed. Strong's eight-year-old son witnessed the incident.  The charges against Strong include child neglect.

Man Arrested For Stealing From Charity  (Estero, FL) -- A Lee County man is accused of stealing from a charity dedicated to veterans. John Simpson started Marines and Mickey four years ago to pay for the families of soldiers to attend Disney World. The FBI, though, says Simpson used almost 400-thousand dollars for his personal expenses. Simpson is already in custody for other charges, and last week, he was transferred to a jail in South Carolina.

Police: Would-Be Burglar In Bizarre Costume Harasses Merrimack Home  (Merrimack, NH) -- Charges are being filed in New Hampshire against a man who police say tried to break into a house while wearing a black wig, fishnet stockings, make-up and devil horns. Merrimack police say Eric Mann was wearing the Halloween costume last week while banging on the doors and windows of the home. He took off when they got there but was caught a short time later. His costume was then completed with a set of handcuffs.

Wanted Man Crashes Into Wendy's Drive-Thru  (Clarksville, TN) -- A wanted man in Tennessee is finally behind bars after allegedly getting drunk and crashing into a fast food restaurant's drive-thru window. Clarksville police say Michael Patterson was intoxicated last Thursday night when he slammed into the Wendy's and then took off. He was later arrested, and investigators determined he had a revoked driver's license and several warrants out of Tennessee and Kentucky. Nobody was seriously hurt but Patterson was booked in the Montgomery County Jail on all sorts of charges.
