Florida’s gay marriage ban unconstitutional

Dockery nails it again re: RPOF

A federal court has ruled Florida’s gay marriage ban unconstitutional.  It probably is.  The battle continues, but the legality of gay marriage isn’t the biggest issue of the topic.  It’s the idea you can be forced to participate or face penalty if you don’t.  It’s happening all over and it’s downright wrong!  Former County Commission candidate Lisa McDermott, her husband and others have been arrested in the racketeering scheme that centered at McDermott’s ice cream business.  D-4 voters dodged a bullet in this candidate that was never ready for prime time and certainly not what we needed in our next commissioner.  And former state senator Paula Dockery has nailed it when it comes to the RPOF and the ugliness and stupidity of party politics.  Early voting continues from 8am-6pm today and wraps up tomorrow from 8am-4pm.  We’ll have Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott with us at 7:45am with an update.  If you didn’t see me with Matt Reed discussing our takes on the election on WEFS-TV, the show can be seen here.
