Bloomberg Drops Out Of Race After Campaigning In Florida

(West Palm Beach, FL) -- Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg is dropping out of the presidential race and supporting Joe Biden. He made the announcement yesterday after campaigning in Florida the day before and performing poorly in Super Tuesday states. While here, Bloomberg said, "Winning in November starts with Florida." The Florida presidential primary is underway now.

Orlando Mayor Switches Presidential Endorsement

(Orlando, FL) -- How much difference a day makes. Tuesday, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer endorsed Mike Bloomberg for president. Then yesterday, after Bloomberg suspended his campaign, Dyer switched his support to Joe Biden. Bloomberg is also endorsing Biden.

Thirty Orange County Residents Isolated Over Coronavirus Fears

(Orlando, FL) -- Over two dozen people in Orange County are being watched due to coronavirus concerns. The Florida Department of Health says about 30 residents are in self-isolation after possible exposure to the virus. No one has tested positive.

Ultra Music Festival Postponed Due To Coronavirus

(Miami, FL) -- One of Miami's most popular events is off because of the coronavirus. City Commissioner Manola Reyes announced yesterday that organizers behind the Ultra Music Festival have decided to postpone the three-day event set for two weeks from now at Bayfront Park. Over 100-thousand people from over a hundred countries were expected to attend, and Reyes tells 7News the decision was made out of an abundance of caution. No makeup date has been announced, and the Miami Herald reports the event may not happen at all this year.

Teen Wanted For Stealing Car With Child Inside

(Orlando, FL) -- A teenager is wanted for stealing a car with a child inside in Orlando. It happened yesterday in College Park while a couple was inside a sandwich shop and a five-year-old girl was asleep in the car. Police say a boy they believe is about 17-years-old jumped in the unlocked car and took off down Edgewater Drive. The car was found abandoned on Ardsley Drive.The girl was safe inside and there was no sign of the suspect. 

Left Behind Water Bottles Leads To Jewelry Store Heist Arrest

(Tampa, FL) -- Left behind water bottles are credited with helping to solve a three-million dollar Tampa jewelry store heist. TPD tested the bottles and DNA left on them, and that led them to 33-year-old Marcelo Romero who is also a suspect in other burglaries in California. The Tampa theft was at Marcelo's Fine Jewelry in April of last year.

Baby Yoda Toys Could Be Delayed Due To Coronavirus

(Pawtucket, RI) -- Even Baby Yoda can't escape the coronavirus. The outbreak is slowing production in China due to quarantines and travel restrictions. Hasbro's line of Star Wars toys is due this month. The first batch is close to being shipped on time, but experts say if production isn't back to normal by June then there will be shortages. The most anticipated toy is the animatronic Baby Yoda doll that moves and makes sounds.

Coronavirus-Themed Porn On The Rise

(Undated) -- New data suggests the popularity of so-called coronavirus-themed pornography is on the rise. Vice reports more than 100 videos from the genre have begun popping up online recently, including pervs in hazmat suits and moms in quarantine. One porn actor told the outlet that they believe the trend is rising because people fetishize fear, which is also why they love horror movies. Vice also claims a subgenre is popping up called "protection," where pairs strip down to nothing but surgical masks.
