Melbourne To Hold Veterans Day Parade

(Melbourne, FL) -- Veterans will be honored today in a ceremony in Brevard County. A Veterans Day parade is set for Melbourne this morning at 10:00. It will start on Melbourne Avenue and make its way down New Haven to the Liberty Bell Museum on Oak Street. American Legion Post 163 on North Harbor City Boulevard will hold a cookout afterward.

Teacher Arrested For Attacking Student

(Sanford, FL) -- A teacher is facing charges for an incident with a student in Seminole County. Millennium Middle School phys ed teacher Mike Henry was arrested Friday after deputies say he grabbed a student and forced him against a wall. The 56-year-old teacher was apparently upset that the student was trying to leave the locker room without a shirt. Deputies say the student was left with a bump on his head. 

Name Released Of Officer Seen Tugging On Student's Hair

(Orlando, FL) -- The Orange County Sheriff's Office is releasing the name of a school resource officer seen tugging on a student's hair. The incident has led to the firing of Westridge Middle School resource officer Harry Reid on Friday. Video on social media shows how Reid pulled a girl's hair when he was trying to break up a fight between her and another girl from Westridge Middle School in the nearby parking lot of an apartment complex.

Tips Pour In For Williams' Disappearance

(Jacksonville, FL) -- The public is providing plenty of tips in the search for a missing Jacksonville girl. Five-year-old Taylor Rose Williams was reported missing last week, and the JSO has received over a hundred tips, while Crime Stoppers has received over a dozen. The reward for information on the girl's whereabouts is up to four-thousand dollars. The JSO tweeted yesterday that the search has extended into Georgia and Alabama.Authorities are looking at an ad apparently posted last week on Criagslist by Brianna Williams the day before Taylor Rose Williams was reported missing. The ad seeks child care help, and Action News Jax legal expert Dale Carson says the ad could have been an attempt to make it look like Taylor was still alive under Brianna's care.

Driver Arrested After Crashing Into Police Cruiser

(Miami, FL) -- Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a crash involving a police cruiser in Miami-Dade County. Miami Police say a driver was drunk when they hit a cruiser yesterday morning on I-95 near Southwest Eighth Street. The officer was parked on the side of the road to help a stranded driver. No one was hurt, and the driver was arrested. 

'Baby Trump' Balloon Slashed At College Football Game

(Tuscaloosa, AL) -- The Baby Trump balloon is deflated after flying during the Alabama-LSU college football game that President Trump attended this weekend. A protester stabbed the giant balloon shortly before kickoff, deflating it. The large balloon often travels to events the President is attending. It depicts a likeness of Trump in diapers. The man who stabbed it wore an Alabama Crimson Tide t-shirt and was arrested.
