Boy Hurt In Golf Cart Accident

(Cocoa, FL) -- A boy is hurt after a golf cart crash in Brevard County. The 11-year-old from Cocoa was driving the cart yesterday afternoon when it flipped over on Fox Trail Court. The boy was airlifted to the hospital, and he's in serious condition. His parents were also in the cart, but they were not hurt.  

Woman Accused Of Pulling Gun During Confrontation 

(Orlando, FL) -- A woman is facing charges after an argument over feeding stray cats in Orange County. Lisa Saunders was arrested over a week ago after police say she pulled a gun on another woman in Lake Sunset. The alleged victim apparently confronted Saunders for feeding stray cats on West South Street. Saunders is charged with aggravated assault after she allegedly got a gun from her car and warned the other woman to stay away from her before driving off.

Gay-Rights Groups Target Melbourne Company 

(Melbourne, FL) -- A new law in Southeast Asia is causing problems for a company in Brevard County. The country of Brunei (broo-NIGH) recently announced a ban on sex between men, and violators could be stoned to death. Melbourne's Harris Corporation is planning to merge with a company, L3 Technologies, that just agreed to buy more than 200 planes from Piper Aircraft, which is owned by Brunei's government. Space Coast Pride is urging Harris to do what it can to kill the airplane deal, but the company tells Florida Today, as of now, Harris and L3's merger has not been approved, so Harris will not comment on the practices of other businesses.  

Man Hit By Car And Shot 

(Largo, FL) -- A man is hurt after he was hit by a car and then shot in Pinellas County. The man was hit last night in Largo by a Jeep that fled the scene. Moments later, someone else shot the man, but the two incidents are not believed to be connected. The alleged shooter was arrested, but the driver remains at large. 

Several Florida Cities Among Tops In Country For Grown-Up Kids Still Living At Home  

(Undated) -- A new study says there are several Florida cities that are tops in the nation, when it comes to grown up children still living with their parents. The national study was done by LendingTree. It found Miami was number two for adult children still living at home in the United States, Orlando is number ten, Tampa is 14th, and Jacksonville is in 27th place. The top city in the country for adult children remaining at home is Riverside California. 

Police Pull Over New Hampshire Woman Driving With Goat In Lap 

(Marlborough, NH) -- New Hampshire police say they pulled over a woman who was driving with a baby goat in her lap. The Marlborough Police Department said on April 1st, a 60-year-old woman was pulled over for using her cell phone while driving, when officers noticed another violation...a baby goat perched in her lap. To make matters worse, the woman also didn't have a valid driver's license. In a Facebook post, the department shared this unusual case saying, "I wish this was another April Fool's joke baaaht it's not. Please don't drive distracted." 

Florida Man Fresh Out Of Jail Allegedly Burglarizes Cars In Jail Parking Lot 

(St. Lucie County, FL) -- A Florida man is facing charges after allegedly burglarizing cars in a jail parking lot moments after being released from custody. St. Lucie County authorities say 37-year-old Michael Casey Lewis was re-arrested last Thursday morning after he was seen pulling on car doors in the St. Lucie County Jail parking lot. He now faces even more charges and has been released on bond. Lewis was originally put in jail on grand theft allegations.
